Biography
Amarylise is an experienced classroom teacher and school leader, with a particular interest in supporting teachers deliver effective instruction. She has led school-based reform in the teaching of literacy and currently supports schools to implement instructional change.
Amarylise believes every student deserves a teacher who understands the latest research in effective teaching, and who feels confident to support all students. She is passionate about supporting beginning teachers in all aspects of their journeys.
Prior to teaching, Amarylise was a Social Researcher, with a particular focus on supporting vulnerable families and child development. She has presented widely at conferences and appeared in front of a Senate Inquiry about the importance of systems change in early education.
