‘Keep it Corka’ was a community-led initiative by the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia (ACHSA) and Murray Mallee Community Health to raise awareness of healthy lifestyle choices and support behaviour change. The Team delivered school and community education, targeted quit support, physical activity sessions, healthy cooking and gardening programs, and community events, supported by printed educational materials like those displayed here. The initiative featured Puyu Blaster, a fun, heroic character who inspires kids and communities to stay smoke-free and make positive health choices through engaging, culturally relevant storytelling.
