1. UC progresses with the implementation of its Campus Master Plan as strategic landholding acquisition is finalised

   The º£½ÇÉäÇø’s vision to develop an integrated and connected community where scholars, students and the public intermingle is one step closer to fruition with the acquisition of approximately 15 hectares of land, valued at $66 million, on the º£½ÇÉäÇø’s Bruce campus being close to completion as announced by one of Australia’s leading residential real estate developers, Peet Limited.

2. UC ready to roll out financial assistance to support the ACT’s future nurses, midwives and allied health professionals

   Students commencing study in nursing and allied health courses at the º£½ÇÉäÇø in 2024 will share in the ACT Government’s $3 million program to support the growth of the future health workforce in the ACT.

4. UC develops new Guides to support safe media reporting of child sexual abuse

   The º£½ÇÉäÇø’s News and Media Research Centre (N&MRC) has developed evidence-based Guides to encourage and support responsible, trauma-informed reporting of child sexual abuse in the media, and to equip and support victims and survivors to liaise productively and safely with media.

5. Wipro and UC collaborate to fund select PhD programs and boost Work Integrated Learning opportunities for students, by 2027

   The º£½ÇÉäÇø and Wipro, a leading international technology services and consulting company, have entered into a collaboration agreement that will see the organisations collaborating on select PhD programs, and boosting Work Integrated Learning and employment opportunities for University students, by 2027.
