Learning outcomes
After successful completion of this unit, students will be able to:1. Critically investigate typical and atypical developmental changes across the lifespan, incorporating biopsychosocial and contextual information into clinical reasoning;
2. Implement and appraise safe, effective, and patient-centred physiotherapy assessments for children and older adults;
3. Devise, contextualise, and justify age-appropriate physiotherapy interventions using appropriate outcome measures that respond to the unique needs of individuals across the lifespan; and
4. Apply and adapt professional behaviours to create culturally safe workspaces when working with stakeholders, including interprofessional teams.
